Habitat for Humanity

St. Thomas More parishioners continue to be active supporters of the Habitat for Humanity Valley of the Sun (http://www.habitataz.org/) mission to provide decent, affordable housing for hard working families. Since 1999, over 150 of our volunteers have worked in partnership with churches of many denominations and local businesses to build 5 homes in Phoenix and Glendale. We offer a broad range of volunteer opportunities, hold several fund raisers each year and accept in-kind donations of new construction material and/or professional labor to help us reach our financial contribution goals.

In partnership with Habitat and a coalition of other churches, St. Thomas More is beginning work on its 6th home, near the Arizona state capital building. Click here for the build schedule.
