Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)

CLOW is a Liturgy of the Word experience that enables children to hear the Word of God in a setting that is adapted to the understanding, needs, and abilities of children in Kindergarten through the 3rd grade.

The children are dismissed after the Opening Prayer in the main assembly to hear the Word of God in a setting that is adapted to their understanding, needs and abilities. Since this is part of the Mass, the ritual, readings and reflection mirrors what is happening in the main assembly.

There is no registration or fee required for children to attend. Parents are welcome to attend with their children. CLOW is not a catechetical experience or is it a substitute for regular catechetical formation.
